Mileage is itemized separately and charged once for the appointment. The route, mileage, number of acts, and total are confirmed before travel.
Mileage rate shown: $0.76, as of October 8, 2026. Rates follow Connecticut’s fee limits and the IRS business mileage ceiling. The number of notarial acts may differ from the number of pages or documents.

- Have all pages of your document ready, with required fields completed.
- Wait to sign until the appointment unless instructed otherwise.
- Have each signer present with appropriate identification. Ask about ID requirements when booking.
- Arrange any required document witnesses in advance.

Derby, Ansonia, Shelton, and Seymour are the core service area. Ask about nearby towns. Availability and travel mileage are confirmed individually.
Can you tell me which document I need?
No. Please ask the document’s recipient or an attorney about the correct document and notarial act. We notarize eligible prepared documents.
Is an appointment automatically confirmed?
No. Requests are confirmed after the document type, identification, witnesses, location, pricing, and availability are checked.
Do you offer online notarization?
This service is for in-person appointments. Remote notarization is not currently offered here.
